PREGNANCY CARE IN HASTINGS
With over 15 years’ experience, I can work alongside NHS care or independently, helping you understand your options, prepare for birth, and feel more confident navigating pregnancy in a system that can make you feel left behind.

Pregnancy care with me is about time –time to talk things through, to ask the questions that don’t fit into a ten-minute appointment, and to make decisions that feel considered rather than rushed.
Alongside conversation and planning, I can also provide routine pregnancy check-ups, including blood pressure monitoring, urine testing, and listening to your baby’s heartbeat. Appointments can take place in your home, and - once CQC registration is complete - in clinic.
Some people come to me for continuity and ongoing pregnancy care.
Others come for clarity at key moments – when choices feel heavy, advice feels conflicting, or something just doesn’t sit right.
This isn’t about taking over or telling you what to do.It’s about combining practical clinical care with space, information, and steady support –so you can move through pregnancy feeling more informed, more grounded, and more confident in your decisions.

This option suits people who want a known midwife and ongoing support throughout pregnancy.
Book a free phone or in-person consultation if you’d like to explore ongoing care and see whether I’m the right midwife for you.
No pressure – just a chance to talk things through and see what feels right.
Maternity Care Consultation
A Maternity Care Consultation is a one-off appointment designed to give you clarity.
This option suits people who want clarity or reassurance at a specific point in their pregnancy, without ongoing care.
It’s for times when you have questions or decisions to make, and you want space to talk things through with an experienced, independent midwife.
During the appointment, we can explore your options, unpack advice you’ve been given, and talk through what feels right for you. This might include birth planning, navigating NHS pathways, making sense of conflicting information, or discussing worries that haven’t been properly addressed elsewhere. These appointments are conversational and supportive, with time to focus on what matters most to you.
They don’t replace ongoing pregnancy care, but they can be incredibly helpful if you need reassurance, perspective, or a steady second opinion at a specific point in your pregnancy. This option works well if you don’t need continuity, but do want thoughtful, evidence-based guidance when things feel uncertain.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with specific points on the feet to support the whole body. In pregnancy and postnatally, it’s often used to support relaxation, sleep, emotional regulation, and the physical demands of growing, birthing, and recovering. When appropriate, sessions can also be tailored to support the body’s natural preparation for labour.
Sessions include lower leg massage and the use of carefully selected essential oils, chosen with pregnancy and postnatal safety in mind. My approach is slow, responsive, and deeply attuned – not prescriptive, not pushy. Each session is shaped around how you’re feeling on the day, whether that’s tension, overwhelm, exhaustion, or simply the need to rest. Reflexology isn’t about fixing you or pushing your body in a particular direction – it’s about meeting you where you are, supporting your nervous system, and giving your body space to settle.
